An all-round good egg – that’s how friends and colleagues describe Sue. Valued for her reliability, her people skills and her ability to mediate, she also has a great sense of humour. She loves working in an office that is “fun but focussed.” Sue, a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, qualified at the Royal Forest of Dean College and later lectured on the AAT course there. She worked for Parry’s in Monmouth for about 30 years, moving to Archer and Co when Joe Parry took it over in 2016. During her career she has worked in accounts, as a conveyancer, as an estate agent and for valuers, so she’s familiar with all aspects of the business. “What I like about it is helping to make people’s dreams come true when they get the house they really wanted,” she says. Married to Angus, a chartered surveyor, Sue lives in Monmouth and enjoys cycling and walking in the Wye Valley with her dogs Barney and Betty. She also spends a lot of her spare time with her four children and grandchildren and, when possible, going on family holidays.
