Competitive and tenacious by nature, Gill likes a challenge. She will do whatever it takes to make sure that property sales proceed to completion, calling on her 30 years’ estate agency experience and her conveyancing knowledge, gained working as a legal secretary in London. Gill’s “winning ways” exhibit themselves in other areas of her life, too. She owns and shows four whippets, enjoying the social life of the show circuit and regularly qualifying for Crufts. She also bought and trained an otherwise unwanted animal into her “horse of a lifetime” and together they achieved advanced level at dressage. It meant Gill realised her dream of competing in top hat and tails. She doesn’t get that dressed up for the office, but, with her characteristic sense of humour, she says she scrubs up well for an outing, just like her wonderful dressage horse used to.
